Job Description : Manage all operational activities of Accounts though the team of accountants and accounts assistants like accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash/ bank receipts/ payments, general ledger, payroll, sales invoicing, purchase bills, sales/ purchase order processing, capital transactions, fixed assets transactions, taxation related transactions, finalisation journal vouchers, etc.

Will be indirectly responsible for invoicing preparation, stock inward/ outward transactions, purchase approval, payment approvals, etc.

Generation of MIS reports

Payment realisation from customers and vendor payments
Budgeting, Forecasting and Cash flow decisions in consultation with management

Developing & maintaining account books & financial statement in accordance with accounting principles and accounting standards.
Accomplish accounting objectives by planning, assigning responsibilities, monitoring and reviewing tasks considering accounting policies and procedures.
Confirm financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses, coordinating the collection, consolidation and evaluation of financial data, preparing special reports.
Throughout knowledge of activities in all areas of Accounts, Finance, Taxation, Various Audit requirements.
Maintain financial security by establishing internal controls
Monitor accounting systems and processes including balance sheet working and finalisation of accounts.
Reviewing process and the execution from project heads and planning cash flows for the projects, overseeing the invoicing and billing
Helping management in estimate, costing, helping in various tender/ bid documents, reviewing commercial terms of various PO.
Handle accounts payable & accounts receivable
Over viewing the data entry done by the subordinates, checking the accuracy of the same and authorising the required data in ERP system.
Reporting on various aspects to the management including preparation of monthly MIS
Vendor reconciliation & correspondence with respective department
Understanding the tax structures including direct, indirect taxes, it’s implications PO wise and their impact on various orders.
Inventory management, quarterly physical verification of stocks, various analysis.
Preparing bank reconciliation, submitting documents and reports to bankers
Constant watch on inflow and outflow of funds for prioritising the payments as per the funds available keeping in mind the cut off dates of statutory payments
Assigning the daily activities to team members based on priority and getting work done as per given task.
Making a daily report as per task and send it to concern department every day.
